The ICA is a codified umbrella control that governs all commercial agreements in Native indian. Under the ICA, a betting contract is the one which cannot be required. The Act lays down; 'Agreements by way of bet are gap, and no suit shall be brought for recovering anything alleged to be won on any bet or entrusted to any person to abide by the outcome of any action or other uncertain occasion on which any bet is made'. Gambling, lotto and prize activities have organised to be betting agreements and thus gap and unenforceable. While a betting contract is not unlawful, it cannot be required in a judge of law.
